My mission is to create aesthetically pleasing and functional designs that matter, helping businesses like yours make the world a better place.

For over 10 years, I’ve successfully helped small service-based businesses/clients evolve and grow their brand presence through good strategic design.

My design career began out of a transition from science to the design field. Not your typical designer background, I know. But hopefully an interesting story nonetheless. Drawing on my experience as a visual designer, space planner, and scientific researcher, I approach design from both creative and technical perspectives. This has allowed me to successfully deliver design projects for my clients. These include designing logos, building WordPress websites, and creating marketing collateral.

I value curiosity and learning and am a lifelong learner. I have a B.S. degree in Science from John Carroll University (Cleveland, OH) and studied graphic and web design at the University of California, San Diego, and at the San Diego Centers for Education and Technology. I continue to educate myself to be better in all I do. Especially since the design industry is continually changing and evolving. I see design everywhere. You never know when inspiration and a good solution will strike, so you have to keep your eyes and your mind open to it.

My work experience includes roles at a small design agency, design and marketing placement firms, and in creative departments at medium and larger businesses.

I enjoy working directly with start-ups and small businesses.  I have worked in both these types of situations and have experience in “wearing all the hats” and realizing all the potential these types of businesses hold.

Knowing my work and collaboration with others is directly making a difference is deeply satisfying.
